Still going strong!

I know I haven't been keeping Forever For Now up to date the past years. There's still a lot of useful information on here, but I find myself swamped in freelance work that takes up a lot of time. I'm also working on new algorithms for Audiowish plugins, so there will definitely be new releases in the future.
So here's at least a small sign of life.
Site maintenance: DNS updates

On Wednesday the 26th of August, 2009 the DNS records for Forever For Now and other hosted sites, like Audiowish, will be updated. You might notice a temporary interruption in the availability of all websites, but we'll be back up shortly afterwards. Propagation of DNS records usually takes an hour to one day, depending on the DNS server used.

I updated one of the most popular articles currently on the site. Kevin Salmon informed me that a few links on the VMWare Player Image Creation page were out of date. Thanks to him all links to the QEMU website are working again.
Update: CGI Scripting Tips for Bash or SH

I've updated the article on CGI Scripting using bash or sh thanks to some helpful feedback by Ken Butcher. All example commands and scripts are now working properly and the wget client example is updated to make sure no output is written to disk or log files.
